First off, go to Start –> Control Panels and look for “AutoPlay”:

Click on it, then scroll down to the very bottom of the window. Check out what’s shown:
There you go, simply specify your preference of choice for the device "Android / Apple iPhone”: it’s probably set to “Import pictures and videos using Windows”, but you can instead just choose “Take no action” and you’re good, problem solved!
*Google Drive, Picasa, Books & all the rest of that crap may be the phone's default. That's another ball of wax.
