101 Contradictions in the Bible

*I'm not "for" or "against" any religion yet I attempt to quantify statements and "accepted" truths. I find it amusing that when Bible thumpers jump on their soapbox they never mention "parables" which are stories that do not need to be based in any fact. Add to that, they can never explain these contradictions except with bullshit.

The Bilderberg Group

What is the secretive gathering and are its members really plotting the New World Order?

A collective of elite North American and European politicians, business leaders, financiers and academics, the group has attracted a good deal of suspicion over the last half-century, with conspiracy theorists confidently asserting that its members are plotting the New World Order and are hell-bent on global domination.

Protesters who believe the Bilderbergers represent a "shadow world government" regularly picket their yearly meet-ups, creating a need for high security at all times, but attendees insist the group is simply a debating society taking place outside the glare of the political spotlight.
The group publishes its guest list the day before its annual get together - between 120 and 150 are invited by its steering committee - along with a list of the subjects they intend to discuss as a gesture towards transparency. This typically consists of broad issues like macroeconomic concerns, the threat of terrorism and cyber-security.
No minutes are taken, however, and the outcome of their discussions are not made public, hence the assumption that they are a sinister cabal of the rich and powerful with something to hide.
The Bilderberg Group take their name from the Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, the Netherlands, where its members first convened on 29 May 1954 at the invitation of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld.
Its founders - including exiled Polish politician Jozef Retinger, ex-Belgian prime minister Paul van Zeeland and Paul Rijkens, former head of consumer goods giant Unilever - were concerned about a prevailing atmosphere of anti-American sentiment in post-war Europe in a moment when the US was enjoying a consumer boom while holding the fate of the recovering continent in its hands through the Marshall Plan
The group hoped to revive a spirit of transatlantic brotherhood based on political, economic and military cooperation, necessary during the Cold War as the USSR tightened its iron grip on its eastern satellites.
Sixty-one delegates, including 11 Americans, from a total of 12 countries attended the inaugural conference, with candidates chosen to bring complimentary conservative and liberal points of view, future Labour leader Hugh Gaitskell among them. Its success meant subsequent meetings were held in France, Germany, Denmark before the first on American soil at St Simons Island in Georgia.
The Bilderberg Group's primary goal has reportedly been expanded to take in a more all-encompassing endorsement of Western free market capitalism over the years, although the conspiracy theorists believe their agenda is either to impose pan-global fascism or totalitarian Marxism. They're just not sure which.
Although members do not as a rule discuss what goes on within its conferences, Labour MP and onetime party deputy leader Denis Healey, a member of the steering committee for more than 30 years, did offer a clear statement of its intentions when quizzed by journalist Jon Ronson for his book Them in 2001.
"To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair," he said. "Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn't go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing."
Other notable British politicians to have accepted the group's invitation include Conservatives Alec Douglas-Home and Peter Carrington - who chaired the committee between 1977 and 1980 and between 1990 and 1998 respectively - and Margaret Thatcher, David Owen, Tony Blair, Peter Mandelson, Ed Balls, Ken Clarke and George Osborne. Princes Philip and Charles have also been.

     Trapped In My Perception

As we struggle to perceive the ever changing environment that surrounds us, we are intermittently trapped in our own perceptions.

When life is grand and times are great, most people tend to say, “I worked for this – I earned this – I deserve this, etc.”
However, when the tables are turned these same individuals tend to say, “Help me Lord – Please Jesus – Allah, why have you forsaken me?

From one moment to the next, nothing and everything has changed forever.

What matters is our perception of the event and what’s of even more importance is our response and plan of action.

Changing one’s perceptions on the surface is quite easy for some of us. I.e. I didn’t need her anyways – That job sucked and I’ll find a better one – Never liked that car from the get go, etc.

But what thoughts creep in to your mind from time to time, thoughts of her, the car, the job?

It seems that we have momentary success at adjusting our attitudes and viewing the event from a different perspective but, have we really changed at the core of our being?

If we had truly succeeded in our efforts then why do we miss the car from time to time?
It seems to me that we are still trapped by the perception of an earlier event. This is an event that we thought we had closure on but our feelings, attitudes, actions, etc suggest a different story.

I had to take you around the loop in order to bring you to the dilemma which is my own perception.

I perceive my “being” on earth is due to a need of me by God. My growth within him is in constant flux due to the thoughts of my own mind and those embedded by Satan.

There is a continuous and ongoing battle between living in the spirit and or living in the flesh.

Most of us know better but do we “do” better?

I believe my life is any where away from America but my mom is here in Florida. My dilemma grows…

My mom and I were never close in my former years but have become closer due to reasons that are personal.

I packed up and moved to Puerto Rico but God brought me back. Now I wait once again to leave.

My mother needs my help but if I extend my hand to do so, I get bit. My mom bites hard, you’ll have to take my word for that one.

So here I stand trapped by my perceptions and the double whammy of my perception of my belief system. If that statement seems complicated, it is!

The pivotal point is all controlled by me and how I choose to perceive these events. I’m exactly where I was when I described changing on the surface as opposed to changing my core.

Can I make me happy? Yes. Can I make this the most wonderful day of the year? Yes. Can I take all the negativity thrown at me and that dwells within me and change it to a positive? Yes.
The question becomes, “will I and for how long”?

Is the change of venue sustainable? How long can I take “this hill” and keep it before I backslide?

I’m duped, stumped and for the moment, defeated.

How do I escape my perception of all things when it’s all I perceive I have?

Not only that but my escape must be through the Lord my God or it will never last for very long.
My escape is within the spirit and not through the feeding of the flesh.

Take a look at that folks. I have written the answer to my own equation yet I’m still not succeeding at my core.

I have to admit that I drop my faith on such a frequent basis that some times I question myself as to if I’ve ever even had it.

I’m confused and will most likely remain this way!

With all the accolades and achievements in life I’m still dim-witted.

I see God’s path yet I can’t make myself walk that path.

How else can you describe such a person?

I guess I can accept the fact that I’m “earthly” smart which doesn’t mean shit in the real realm and in the events and revelations that will occur in the very near future.

When I lose my mom to the Lord Jesus Christ, what do you think I will perceive? Everything that really means anything will be gone as far as my “earthly” concerns.

 Where will that leave you?

Do you have some advice for me? Better yet, do you have some advice for you?

From one of my own books

  The Equation.....of Sorts

I sit here with no MS Word and a need to write. This writing is important at least to me and I need to pen these thoughts before they vanish as a simple notion.

My equation may be simple to some but it's a chore for me at the moment.

How do I guide the ship that others call my life?

I look at the top carnivore on the planet, the world banks and bankers first. This group includes the Bilderberg Group and other unknown players at the top of my food chain.

Next I look at their movements as best I can observe from deciphering an alien code. The code has to be alien because the networks that feed me my information are also controlled by them.

I add in the religious aspect "as I understand it" and once again, these books were written by mankind. Yes, I believe in my God yet my belief stops where the corruption of man enters.
Canonized, not canonized, who gave whom the authority to decide what goes in to the Bible, Torah, and Quran? Who is it that has walked amongst us except for Jesus that did not walk in corruption?

Then i move on to the strategies, even my old coach would yell, "GET IN THE GAME, YOU CAN DO IT" when we were down 28 zip with a minute left on the clock.
I don't fool myself into believing that the system in place simply sprung up from a few. I vehemently believe the games we observe today began when we were still hunter / gatherers.

All man's energy boils down to money, power and prestige.

The world bankers have all the money.....could they want more power or prestige? Are they actually finding joy in creating this atmosphere of hate that we all live in? Black against White, Christian against Muslim, etc.
I understand this is a learned negative action or why would children of all colors play with one another until their old enough to inherit the social backwardness that we accept as "The norm"?

 Enough of that.

Lets factor in the lies such as you have money in your pocket. That's not 100 dollars of money as we are indoctrinated to believe. That's part profit, debt, liability, responsibility, blood, death gore, persecution and a host of other things that I don't have enough gigs to store.
Oh yeah, the same dollars you carry have been in dope, human trafficking, ethnic cleansing and all the rest.......you just see a bill.

I need to look at the distractions. I'm speaking of the commercials, sales, tits, ass, doughnuts, Cheetos and other crap we looked at even as all that oil spilled in the gulf and simply vanished.
The Washington Post estimated 4.9 million gallons, another site said 190,120,055 gallons, while the Exxon Valdez was said to have spilled 53,084,510 gallons........you try and get a straight answer through all the distractions. I couldn't even Google two sites that agreed upon an answer.

Yes, the distractions that kept you from knowing your 401K was going to disappear, your high school grad can't read, your 15 year old daughter is pregnant, so on and so forth simply because you had to get to fucking Wal-Mart.

Indoctrination is more sinister than denial but with the same devastating effects. The horn sounds and you pledge allegiance to whom and you don't even know the words; headache = aspirin; brushing your teeth = tooth paste. You never once thought of another route?
You claim to be Christian or any other faith? How can there be words such as good and bad, right and wrong when it comes down to human nature? Wouldn't your belief dictate that everything is Godly, un Godly, more Godly or less Godly?
Bet you'll never untwist that one which some will see proves the depth of indoctrination.

My mom has seen her best days and when that day comes I will grieve but...........what has to happen is natural, it's nature or are you that caught up in what you have been mentally fed?

Let’s observe poverty.........fat assed Americans on TV infomercials all night long buying shit to lose weight. Another family that may only see the television in a store window has only rice and some greenery to eat.
..............still sitting there wondering why someone may think Americans are an abomination to be done away with?

Let’s move on to the belief systems (You do realize I had to chop all this shit down right?) My goodness......I can only share what I observe; belief systems must number as many as living human beings on the planet.
You and another work together, attend the same church; eat the same crap.....almost. Here's the kicker, your belief systems would crash and burn if you spent more than 4 hours with each other's family.
The smiling "Fuck you" hasn't escaped my attention, he has a new car, her hubby is built, her kids go to private school.........Your hidden agendas aren't hidden.

This brings me to stupidity which seems to be the running norm. How are you going to buy a pair of shoes that hurt before you leave the store; your getting an iPad, explain to me the apps on your old phone; you want kids, think you might want a job first; woman ain't shit, look at who they have been sleeping with......nuff said.

These are simple aspects of the equation....of sorts.

If you’re lost now, this little writing won't help you, trash it.

Those still here, lets look at what I call "My" solution.

Simple: Food, clothes and shelter. It's back to living more or less how I lived in NC. It's time to plant your own, drop a well and have your own water. I'm not caring about the latest fashion, a new iPad, phat rims or the goof wondering what I'm saying. By the way, bartering does work you know?

.........but I'm trying to give you a glimpse of my equation and I try not to lie which is a lie so this lie is the truth......keep reading that while I work on the equation.

Money+power+prestige=structures/mind sets/social situations/beliefs/trust/mistrust/corruption/hatred/bias/etc=my world/through my perception/based on my beliefs/searching for/safety/well being/peace/which requires money/knowledge/skills/nature/humanity/based on reason/my belief system/dependant on/systems/cleanliness/intelligence/practicality/affordability/hygiene/a sense of well being/dependent upon/self worth/ability/communication/tolerance/game/wholeness/created by/family/friends/work/social security/food/clothes/water/which required skills/which required/me/which required/money/house/mom/grand mom/cars/trucks/tools and all together required/a monetary system/supplied by/world banks/governments/Bilderberg Groups/based on/money+power+prestige=

Do you have an answer for me? No worries, I have one for myself.

Here's a clue, the first thing out of your mouth should be "I".

For those of you that know my style, I pushed it all the way to the limit on this one. I did it for a reason though, I did it to separate those whom are actually working at learning and those that never will.

Truth be told, we all can't cross the many rivers ahead, one shall drown me.....while u were tripping on my words, I just took one more step towards my answer to the equation.

Written edited and sent via msn....aint that a bitch?

The History of Labor Day

I celebrate Labor Day every paycheck.

Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers, and Labor Day 2018 occurs on Monday, September 3 (it’s traditionally observed on the first Monday in September). It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894. Labor Day also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans, and is celebrated with parties, parades and athletic events.

Labor Day, an annual celebration of workers and their achievements, originated during one of American labor history’s most dismal chapters.
In the late 1800s, at the height of the Industrial Revolution in the United States, the average American worked 12-hour days and seven-day weeks in order to eke out a basic living. Despite restrictions in some states, children as young as 5 or 6 toiled in mills, factories and mines across the country, earning a fraction of their adult counterparts’ wages.
People of all ages, particularly the very poor and recent immigrants, often faced extremely unsafe working conditions, with insufficient access to fresh air, sanitary facilities and breaks.
As manufacturing increasingly supplanted agriculture as the wellspring of American employment, labor unions, which had first appeared in the late 18th century, grew more prominent and vocal. They began organizing strikes and rallies to protest poor conditions and compel employers to renegotiate hours and pay.
Many of these events turned violent during this period, including the infamous Haymarket Riot of 1886, in which several Chicago policemen and workers were killed. Others gave rise to longstanding traditions: On September 5, 1882, 10,000 workers took unpaid time off to march from City Hall to Union Square in New York City, holding the first Labor Day parade in U.S. history.
The idea of a “workingmen’s holiday,” celebrated on the first Monday in September, caught on in other industrial centers across the country, and many states passed legislation recognizing it.Congress would not legalize the holiday until 12 years later, when a watershed moment in American labor history brought workers’ rights squarely into the public’s view. On May 11, 1894, employees of the Pullman Palace Car Company in Chicago went on strike to protest wage cuts and the firing of union representatives.
On June 26, the American Railroad Union, led by Eugene V. Debs, called for a boycott of all Pullman railway cars, crippling railroad traffic nationwide. To break the strike, the federal government dispatched troops to Chicago, unleashing a wave of riots that resulted in the deaths of more than a dozen workers.
In the wake of this massive unrest and in an attempt to repair ties with American workers, Congress passed an act making Labor Day a legal holiday in the District of Columbia and the territories. More than a century later, the true founder of Labor Day has yet to be identified.
Many credit Peter J. McGuire, cofounder of the American Federation of Labor, while others have suggested that Matthew Maguire, a secretary of the Central Labor Union, first proposed the holiday.
Labor Day is still celebrated in cities and towns across the United States with parades, picnics, barbecues, fireworks displays and other public gatherings. For many Americans, particularly children and young adults, it represents the end of the summer and the start of the back-to-school season.

10 Social Media Sites For Education

by Lila Daniels
Our kids live on social media these days. One crucial way to make learning relevant is to meet ’em where they live, which means finding social media sites that work in the classroom. Social media organically dovetails with subjects like language arts and social studies, but tech savvy teachers know that collaboration can work in any classroom.

Not all social media sites are equal — and not everyone is comfortable turning their students lose on Facebook or Twitter. Here are 10 Top sites that are safe while still engaging.
10 Best Social Media Sites For Students & Teachers
  1. Twiducate: Described as a “walled garden,” this site is billed as a safe site for teachers and students to collaborate. It’s easily accessible and allows teachers to create a class community online using a class code rather than an email address. It also allows teachers to have total control over who is a member and what gets posted. And, it’s free.
  2. TweenTribune: Want to join up with a site that hooks kids on current events? TweenTribune lets students stay up-to-date with current events from the Easthampton student whose tongue froze to a metal pole to a proposal by New Jersey’s governor Chris Christie to lengthen the school day and the school year. It gets students in the news habit and offers a chance for them to comment on the days events. Unfortunately, it does have advertisements (though, what news outlet doesn’t). It sticks to the upbeat news of the day–don’t log on expecting the latest on the Syria conflict.
  3. Blackboard: This the industry leader in course management systems, but it isn’t something you can adopt on your own. The decision to use Blackboard is usually made at the district level, though occasionally by individual schools. Blackboard is an incredibly powerful, safe and comprehensive platform. Many newer teachers will already be familiar with it from their teacher training programs. The downside is cost. This is a very expensive platform, but you pay for quality. That said, it will lack some flexibility for its most tech-savvy teachers.
  4. EDU2.0: This is for teachers looking to integrate course management systems like Blackboard, without the cost. Edu2.0 starts out by offering all it’s premium features on a free trial basis. At the end of the trial period, those features turn off and you can still use the basic platform for free. These features will be plenty for the average user, but may be enough for “power users.” Edu2.0 is cloud-based and requires no significant investment in storage capacity.
  5. Wikispaces Classroom: Collaboration is second nature to Wiki users and Wiki Classroom proves it’s no exception. Wiki Classrooms are private social networks complete with news feeds and communication tools. It’s safe because you decide who’s invited — students, parents, administrators. You can assign, collaborate on, discuss and assess projects all within the site. It can even handle multimedia. The best part, Wikispaces Classroom is free.
  6. Edmodo: Here’s another excellent, free classroom management system. It includes news feeds, assessment tools, communication capabilities and security features.
  7. Skype: Too many educators overlook the potential of Skype in the classrooms. It is the one site that can literally bring the outside world right into your classroom. You can host authors, visit science labs or talk to pen pals from across the globe.
  8. MinecraftEdu: The secret of MinecraftEdu is its ability to harness the power of video games to engage learners. This game allows students to collaborative, explore and problem solve all while learning about history, economics, science and math. Teachers can customize it to fit their curriculum.
  9. Sumdog: This gaming site is kind of like flashcards on steroids. Elementary school age kids love this site. The social aspect is the ability to add friends to their accounts. Kids will race home from school to play them online. It has fun levels and clever characters.
  10. Twitter: Not everyone loves Twitter in the classroom, and there may be good reasons for that. However, it makes the Top 10 because students love it and they use it. Setting up a GroupTweet account lets you moderate who joins and what gets posted. It is also important to keep the account strictly business.
